Put your palm on your eyes and feel relaxed
After that late-night costume party where you wore your favorite crazy lens for straight 5 hours, you definitely need relaxation. So, start by cupping your hands over your eyes and wait for 30-40 seconds. This exercise is often the best reset button for your vision.
Blink Blink Blink!
While we watch Tv or wear colored contact lenses, we tend to blink less. But blinking is important to the eyes. Though there isn’t much that you have to do in this exercise all you have to do is to sit comfortably with your eyes open. Blink it nonstop for 10-15 times quickly. Then give your eyes a little break for 20 seconds. Repeat this drill for 4-5 mins. This will make your eyes feel refreshed.
Roll your eyes- Literally!
This exercise is exactly what it sounds like. Sit straight with your head still and slowly roll your eyes up and down. Do this clockwise and anticlockwise for 10 repetitions. So, what are you waiting for? Start the roll, baby!
Press your eyes
This is one of the most effective and refreshing eye exercises. To perform this eye exercise, all you need is a little inhale and exhale. Put all your fingers on your eyelids and press lightly. Use a bit of gentle pressure and hold them for 10 minutes. Slowly, let go of your eyes and keep them close for a few seconds. Keep them open for a couple of seconds as your vision comes back in focus. Try to do it at least 10 times a day.
The great 20-20-20 rule!
Continuous usage of contact lenses can cause eye damage. To reduce the strain, perform a 20-20-20 rule that’s simple and effective. So, every 20 mins, take a short 20 min break and focus on a wall 20 feet away continuously. This will increase your vision and concentration.
